From CNET News.com: Google Drive and Gmail have both experienced service disruptions today. As of about 6 a.m. PT, Google's Apps Status Dashboard was updated to say that Google was investigating reports of issues with both services and would provide more information shortly. By about 6:30 a.m. PT, some of the frustrated users who'd taken to Twitter to complain of the disruptions were starting to report that they could once again access the services. Throughout the episode, the issue seemed to be sporadic. Web site IsItDownRightNow said that its test of Google Drive passed without any errors, but numerous users have reported problems in the last few hours, including some of us at CNET.
