From PC Mag: If the latest rumors are to be believed, Amazon is set to join the fray and offer us another gaming platform to play on, only this one would be streamed.
Subscribing and streaming video games looks increasingly likely to replace purchasing physical games and downloading digital ones. Sony already offers such a service through PlayStation Now, Microsoft is working on a streaming Xbox, and Google is testing Project Stream. So it should come as no surprise Amazon may be working on its own game streaming service, too.
According to The Information (via The Next Web), the move would allow Amazon to remove the need for powerful gaming hardware from the equation. Instead, games would be run in Amazon's data centers and stream to a wide range of different devices including simple streaming media players such as Fire TVBest Price at Amazon devices.
