From CNET: Google shot down a report that it's in talks to help create a fourth US wireless carrier with TV provider Dish Network, using assets acquired from T-Mobile. The New York Post reported Sunday that Alphabet director Alan Mulally has been part of the talks.
"These claims are simply false," a spokesperson wrote in an emailed statement. "Google is not having any conversations with Dish about creating a wireless network."
The report came as T-Mobile works to get the Justice Department to approve its $26 billion bid to buy Sprint, a deal Dish has been on the periphery of.
Dish didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
