From PC Mag: If you have yet to try Spotify Premium, now's the perfect time to give the music streaming service a go as the free trial has just been tripled from one to three months.
Spotify can be used for free, but your stream of music will regularly be interrupted by ads. Signing up for Spotify Premium solves that by removing the ads, allowing all songs to be played even on mobile devices, unlocking unlimited song skips, and adding the ability to download music.
As Variety reports, the reason for the free trial extension to three months is to give listeners enough time to "fall in love" with the service. Alex Norström, Spotify Chief Premium Business Officer, explains, "Music and podcasts play an important role in people's lives, so we wanted to give users the first 3 months for free to fully enjoy everything that Spotify Premium has to offer. We know it takes time to fully experience all of the features available with Premium, so we're giving people the time that they need to fall in love with Premium's seamless listening experience and on-demand access to more than 50 million tracks, billions of playlists and 450,000 podcast titles for free."
