Logitech Designs Webcam for Apple's Pro Display XDR

From PC Mag: Apple would dearly like you to pay $4,999 for its new Pro Display XDR, or even $5,999 for the nano-texture glass version with a special cleaning cloth. However, the high price doesn't mean you're getting a built-in webcam, so Logitech decided to design a new one exclusively for the XDR.

It's called the Logitech 4K Pro Magnetic Webcam, and in Logitech's words, it's "the first webcam designed specifically for the new Apple Pro Display XDR." What that mean is, Logitech created a casing for the webcam to sit perfectly on the frame of the XDR screen. The built-in magnet designed to hold it in place is strong enough to stay attached even when the XDR is rotated into portrait mode.

If you're already paying $5K+ for a monitor, then an extra $200 for this Logitech webcam is probably going to seem cheap, especially as it's designed exclusively for it. In return, you're getting a camera capable of supporting 4K Ultra HD resolution at 30fps, or 1080p at up to 60fps. It also includes a 5x digital zoom, auto-focus, HDR support, and dual omni-directional mics with noise cancellation.
