From PC Mag: Facebook might be getting ready to join the cloud gaming market.
On Wednesday, the company confirmed it has acquired PlayGiga, a Madrid-based provider of cloud gaming, after a Spanish business newspaper reported the deal.
Facebook declined to elaborate on how it'll use PlayGiga. But the social network's tweet about the news does tease the company's game streaming ambitions by using an emoji of a cloud.
On its website, PlayGiga says "we are excited to announce that the PlayGiga team is moving on to something new. We are continuing our work in cloud gaming, now with a new mission."
