From PC Mag: If you're a fan of Gigabyte's NUC alternative, but are holding out for the latest processors, your wait is over. The Gigabyte Brix range just got refreshed with Intel's 10th generation chips.
As Liliputing reports, four new barebones models of the Brix range have been announced called the BRi3H-10110, BRi5H-10210, BRi7H-10510, and BRi7H-10710. In all cases you're getting a desktop PC that measures just 46.8 by 119.5 by 119.5mm while offering support for dual SODIMM 2,666MHz DDR4 memory (up to 64GB), dual HDMI, Intel Wireless-AC 3168, Bluetooth 4.2, six USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, Gigabit LAN, RS232 Com port, and a headphone/mic jack.
Gigabyte includes a VESA mounting bracket with each Brix allowing you to hide it on the back of a monitor. There's also support for add-on cards, which allows for a second LAN and RS232 Com port.
Which model you choose will depend on your processing requirements. At the low end the BRi3H uses a 15W Core i3-10110U processor, offering two cores and four threads running at 2.1GHz (turbo: 4.1GHz). The BRi5H uses a 15W Core i5-10210U with four cores, eight threads, and runs at 1.6GHz (turbo: 4.2GHz).
