From ASUS Press Release: ASUS today launched ZenBook S (UX393), a premium ultraportable 13.9-inch laptop with a brand-new 3:2 aspect-ratio form factor.
ZenBook S is 15.7 mm thin and 2.98 lb[i] light that premieres a compact precision-crafted magnesium-alloy unibody. It’s built around a 3.3K (3300 x 2200) NanoEdge PANTONE Validated touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio that fits more on the screen. A high-capacity 67 Wh battery with fast-charge support gives ZenBook S up to 14 hours[ii] of autonomy.
The elegant new Jade Black livery features contrasting Red Copper diamond-cut highlights, and an off-center ASUS logo on the lid that adds to the visual appeal of the design. A precision-engineered ErgoLift hinge ensures a comfortable typing position on the spacious edge-to-edge keyboard, along with improved cooling airflow.
For outstanding on-the-go performance, ZenBook S is powered by up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, with up to 16 GB RAM and up to a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD. It features full-size HDMI and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, along with two ultrafast and versatile Thunderbolt™ 3 USB-C® ports and a MicroSD card reader.
The latest version of the MyASUS software allows users to get the most out of their laptop and smartphone, and the ASUS NumberPad 2.0 provides easy numeric data entry[iii]. An infrared (IR) camera allows convenient face login with Windows Hello.

ZenBook S is precision-crafted with an all-metal unibody that uses magnesium alloy for maximum strength and lightness. Its compact 15.7 mm-slim design fits into any bag with no fuss, and has up to 14-hour battery life.
ZenBook S has a fast-charge capability where 60% charge takes as little as 49 minutes, and ASUS USB-C Easy Charge support allows versatile charging from a wide range of 5-20-volt USB-C chargers, including USB-C Power Delivery-certified models, airline chargers, portable chargers or even power banks[iv].
Amazing 3:2 design
The 13.9-inch ZenBook S introduces an all-new 3:2 aspect ratio that's taller than the standard 16:9 widescreen format. This form factor, along with the signature ultraslim display bezels of the NanoEdge design, enhance productivity by allowing users to see more content on the screen without scrolling. It also makes reading or creating text-based content much easier.
This new shape is built around the amazing new 3:2 NanoEdge display, a superb touchscreen with a class-leading resolution of 3.3K (3300 x 2200) that allows users to enjoy pin-sharp visuals in incredible detail. This ultra-bright 500-nit display has excellent outdoor readability, and for ultra-vivid colors it has an exceptionally wide color gamut that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and 133% of the sRGB color space. The display is also PANTONE® Validated to ensure professional-grade color accuracy, making it ideal for creative visual tasks.
Crafted to delight
ZenBook S has a luxurious Jade Black finish with an enhanced subtle Red Copper diamond-cut edges that uses a two-phase anodizing process. The off-center ASUS logo on the lid is the focus for the iconic spun-metal finish, with its Zen-inspired pattern of concentric circles.
To ensure a comfortable typing experience, the new edge-to-edge keyboard features larger keycaps and a precision-engineered ErgoLift hinge for an optimum typing angle. The lift also raises the chassis for optimized cooling and enhanced audio quality.

The latest 10th Generation Intel® Core™ processors in ZenBook S deliver enhanced performance for multitasking work, productivity, and entertainment purposes. ZenBook S also features an ultrafast up to 1 TB PCIe® 3.0 x4 SSD and the latest Intel WiFi 6 (802.11ax) enhanced with ASUS WiFi Master technology for superb all-round performance and stability.
ZenBook S includes all the I/O ports needed for a busy on-the-go lifestyle, including full-size HDMI, USB Type-A ports, and Thunderbolt™ 3 USB-C® ports that support fast charging, 4K UHD external displays and up to 40 Gbps data transfers. ZenBook S includes the latest version of MyASUS, a collection of handy ASUS apps and tools that help users get more out of their ZenBook S. MyASUS includes tools that make it easy to transfer data between an iOS or Android phone and ZenBook S.
ZenBook S is available with the innovative ASUS NumberPad 2.0, a dual-function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated numeric keypad. Even when NumberPad is activated, the touchpad can be used for cursor control. For password-free login, Windows Hello works with the integrated infrared (IR) camera on ZenBook S to make face login fast and easy, even in darker environments.
