High-Resolution ESS 9281 CODEC with QUAD DAC Technology
The ESS 9281 CODEC with QUAD DAC technology on the ROG Delta S gaming headset provides lossless audio processing and exceptionally detailed sound. Each of the four DACs in the ESS 9281 CODEC devotes processing power to a subset of the audible frequency range, across lows, mids, highs to ultra-highs. The four signals are then combined to produce clearer sound with an impressive 130 dB signal-to-noise ratio—which is much higher than any other comparable device currently available on the market. Built-in MQA Renderer
ASUS has begun collaboration with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) which is the award-winning audio technology company. The ROG Delta S is the first achievement of this partnership and the world’s first MQA-enabled gaming headset. Through this collaboration, ASUS is delivering studio-quality music to gamers who are also audiophiles.
The award-winning MQA technology delivers studio-quality audio that unveils every detail of the original recording. The integrated MQA renderer in the ROG Delta S reads an MQA core signal, which is delivered by global streaming services such as TIDAL and Xiami Music, to reveal great audio quality.

ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Microphone and Incredible Lighting Effects
The ROG Delta S joins the same team as the ROG Theta 7.1, ROG Strix Go and ROG Strix Go 2.4 headsets in providing the ASUS-exclusive AI Noise-Canceling Microphone (AI Mic). The ASUS AI Mic has a dedicated processor that is designed to reduce over 50 million types of background noise while preserving vocal harmonics for crystal-clear in-game voice communication. Common background noises such as chatter, keyboard clatter and mouse clicks are reduced by up to 95%.
The AI Mic is unidirectional, detachable and certified by both Discord and TeamSpeak. An indicator light on the tip of the boom flashes red when the microphone is muted, so users can easily determine its status. The AI Mic is specially designed for users who need to communicate outdoors or anywhere with background noise. The feature can be controlled via ASUS Armoury Crate software, and can be easily turned off whenever necessary.
In addition to exceptional voice communication, the ROG Delta S provides a Soundwave light effect, which makes lights flash in sync with a gamer’s voice. This feature complements the customizable and integrated ROG Aura Sync RGB lighting in the ROG Delta S. All lighting effects can be quickly switched off via the headset buttons so users can easily set their own vibe.

The ROG Delta S provides a USB-C connection that enables high-fidelity audio experiences with PCs, Macs, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation® 5 and mobile devices, and the included USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter expands compatibility even further.
