Monster Hunter Rise Switch Console and Pro Controller Revealed

From PC Mag: Nintendo is set to push demand for the Switch console even higher later this year after it revealed a Monster Hunter Rise Special Edition model is launching in late March.

As IGN reports, this limited edition Switch was revealed via the Nintendo of Europe Twitter account. It's actually a bundle, including a Switch console complete with Monster Hunter artwork on the casing, along with a digital download code for Capcom's latest entry in the Monster Hunter series. The tweet also mentions access to a "Deluxe Kit DLC + bonus content."

If you're already a Switch owner, but also a big Monster Hunter fan, Nintendo is also set to offer a special edition of the Pro Controller sporting similar artwork to the console. Both the console and controller will go on sale on the game's scheduled release date of March 26. Seeing as that's a global release date, it's likely the special editions will also be offered on the same day in the US.

If you can't wait until March to buy a Switch, or simply aren't a big fan of Monster Hunter, don't forget Nintendo is also releasing the Mario Red & Blue Edition of the console on Feb. 12 to coincide with the launch of Super Mario 3D World + Browser's Fury. We're also still waiting for Nintendo to decide when to reveal the Switch Pro.
