From PC Mag: A new version of Windows gives Microsoft an opportunity to introduce new features, and one of those has been teased this week called Focus Sessions.
As The Verge reports, the feature tease came via Microsoft Chief Product Officer Panos Panay, who posted the video you can watch below on Twitter. It shows off Focus Sessions, which looks like it's integrated into the Windows 11 clock. Panos comments that it's "been a game-changer for me, especially with @Spotify integration."
The Focus Sessions interface is split into four sections, allowing users to create a number of tasks, view daily progress statistics, a "ready, set, focus!" section to trigger custom timers, and an integration area where third-party services such as Spotify can be accessed. In the example Panos shares, he's using Spotify integration to select music playback for a focused session.
