From PC Mag: Lyft is rolling out incentives for drivers who transition to electric vehicles.
The ride-hail service's new "EV bundle" includes various financial benefits, like additional weekly earnings, public and home charging discounts, and cashback.
"Electrifying our transportation network is a crucial step in helping reverse the negative impacts of climate change," Lyft Director of Sustainability Paul Augustine said in a statement(Opens in a new window). Most notable is the company's drive-more-to-earn-more perk(Opens in a new window): California chauffeurs who add a qualifying electric vehicle to their account by Dec. 31, 2023, can collect an extra $150 by completing 50 EV rides per week through the end of 2024 (or until reaching the $8,100 cap).
