Klipsch Unveils Flexus Core 300 Flagship with 'World's First' Dirac Calibration

From CNET: Klipsch has unveiled its latest flagship soundbar, the Flexus Core 300, which includes Dolby Atmos playback and the "world's first" Dirac support.

The 5.1.2-channel soundbar comes with playback of both Atmos and DTS:X, plus HDMI connectivity with 8K passthrough. The soundbar also has Bluetooth, USB-C, digital optical, subwoofer out and Wi-Fi with support for Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify, and Tidal Connect.

Meanwhile, Dirac is a popular, audiophile-grade calibration software, and the Flexus Core 300 includes a license and microphone in the box.

The Flexus Core 300 features a 54-inch wide wooden cabinet which is loaded with 2.25-inch drivers: two up-firing, two side-firing drivers and four front-firing speakers. The cabinet also includes four 4-inch built-in subwoofers. With its added width and drivers the soundbar is also heavy -- it's twice the weight of the already-huge Core 200 at 35 pounds -- so remember to bend those legs!

The Flexus Core 300 is compatible with the also-new Surr 200 surrounds ($399) and the new 12-inch Sub 200 ($499), as well as the existing peripherals, for users looking to expand their systems later.
