From PC Mag: Wire transfer service MoneyGram has been offline since Friday following a cyberattack.
MoneyGram confirmed the attack on X yesterday, saying it had "recently identified a cybersecurity issue affecting certain of our systems."
"Upon detection, we immediately launched an investigation and took protective steps to address it, including proactively taking systems offline, which impacted network connectivity,” the US-based company added.
MoneyGram is working with law enforcement and “leading external cybersecurity experts” to respond to the attack. However, the company hasn't said when its service will return.
