From PC Mag: It appears the hottest hardware trend right now is making anything that folds. The latest company to join the trend is Logitech, which today unveiled its first foldable mouse.
The Mobi Fold is a compact, wireless peripheral designed to address the gap between professionals who own a mouse and those who use one in public places. “For a long time, people have left their mice behind simply because they were a hassle to carry around, not because they didn't want to use one,” said Joseph Mingori, Logitech’s general manager.
The Mobi Fold is about 2.6 x 2.5 inches, weighs 79 grams, and folds to about half its size. The mouse automatically switches on when you unfold it and switches off when you fold it. Mobi Fold’s chassis is made with recycled plastic and wrapped with a dust-resistant silicone sleeve. At first glance, it might remind you of Microsoft’s Surface Arc mouse.
The hinge offers up to 130 degrees of adjustment and is “tested to withstand 15 years of daily use.” Its top half is designed to naturally fit your hand and reduces “muscle strain by 22% compared to a laptop trackpad,” Logitech says.
