From X-bit Labs: Kingston Technology, one of the world’s top makers of memory products, has announced two of its 1333MHz DDR3 memory offerings were validated by Intel for use in its upcoming Core i5 systems. Kingston’s 1333MHz 1GB and 2GB DDR3 non-ECC SO-DIMM was validated on Intel’s P55 Express Chipset using the code-named Clarksfield mobile processor that belongs to Intel’s next-generation mobile platform called Calpella. The 1333MHz DDR3 non-ECC unbuffered DIMM was validated on Intel’s P55 Express chipset using the Lynnfield desktop processor. The memory modules, available now, are optimized to take full advantage of the dual-channel memory controller, Kingston said. View: Article @ Source Site |
