Samsung Teases New Smart TVs With Finger Gesture Control for CES 2014

From DailyTech: Samsung is gearing up to roll out some new, functionally enhanced Smart TVs next month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

The new Smart TVs will incorporate voice interaction allowing the user to tune the TV to a specific channel using just their voice. As a result, Samsung is expanding its Voice Interaction service to 23 countries globally (up from 11 countries currently).

The Smart TVs will also feature an improved motion control complete with finger gesture recognition. The finger gesture control allows users to change the TV channel, adjust volume, find, and select content using their fingers. The finger gesture control will also allow the user to go back to the previous screen and stop video using a counterclockwise gesture.

More details will turn up when CES 2014 kicks off early next month.
