From DailyTech: Many fans of Samsung Electronics Comp., Ltd. (KRX:005930) (KRX:005935) were stoked when the rumor mill buzzed earlier this year with claims of a metal-body Galaxy S5. Alas, that was not in the cards. The Galaxy S5 did bring a new pitted plastic, but metal accouterments were nowhere to be seen.
Now top leaks Twitter feed @EVLeaks has published an image of what appears to be a Samsung Windows Phone, with Verizon Wireless brandings and -- most notably -- a brushed metal body.
The leaker last month published a picture of the front face.
The rumored spec for the device is:
- Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) Snapdragon 800 quad-core
- 5-inch 1080p screen (others suggested it had 4.3 inch 720p screen, but this was debunked)
- Adreno 305 GPU
- 13 MP rear camera
- 2 GB of DRAM
- BlueTooth 3.0
- NFC
- Dual-band WiFi
- LTE + CDMA + GSM + HSPA
- Physical front-face home button
