LG Covers All Bases with New 7, 8, and 10.1 G Pad Tablets

From DailyTech: For those already familiar with LG’s G Pad Android tablets, you know that the South Korean electronic giant already makes available it G Pad 8.3. While the G Pad 8.3 strikes a nice balance between smaller 7” and larger 10.1” tablets, LG isn’t content with providing a “one size fits all” solution.

So today, LG has announced three new models to the family that include 7”, 8”, and 10.1” G Pads. All three of the tablets will feature QPair 2.0 (software which pairs via Bluetooth with your smartphone and provides incoming call/messages notifications on your tablet) and Knock Code (allows users to power and on and unlock their tablets by “knocking” on the display in a pattern of two to eight taps).

Pricing, availability, and specifications for the new G Pad 7, G Pad 8, and G Pad 10 haven’t been presented at this time, but LG promised to provide details in the coming weeks.

In other LG news, the company has posted a teaser video that showcases its upcoming G Watch that runs Google’s Android Wear mobile operating system. Like the new G Pads, full specifications aren’t available at this time, but the G Watch will features a metal body that is water- and dust-resistant and can last all day on a single charge.
