$199 Motorola Droid Turbo Gets Official with 48-hour Battery Life, 5.2” QHD Display

From DailyTech: After weeks of leaks and teases, the Motorola Droid Turbo has finally been announced. As we previously reported, the Droid Turbo is a specs monster, boasting 48 hours of battery life and the ability to capture an 8-hour charge in 15 minutes with its included Turbo Charger wall adapter.

Given all the leaks that made their way to the internet over the past month, the specs shouldn’t be too surprising:

- 5.2” QHD AMOLED display
- Gorilla Glass 3
- Snapdragon 805 processor (2.7GHz, quad-core, Adreno 420 GPU)
- 3GB of RAM
- 32GB or 64GB of internal storage
- 21MP rear camera
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 802.11ac
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE
- NFC
- 3900 mAh battery
- Verizon Wireless XLTE

If that last spec didn’t clue you in, the Droid Turbo is a Verizon Wireless exclusive, and you’ll be able to pick up the smartphone on October 30. Pricing starts at $199 for the 32GB model, while the 64GB model will set you back $249. Both prices are of course with a new, two-year contract.
