Microsoft Prototype, Lumia 1020 Look-Alike, Leaks in Pictures From China

From DailyTech: Is it a new flagship device -- perhaps the long-awaited Lumia 1030, even? Is it a prototype Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is playing with? Is it the cancelled McLaren device with hands free controls?

Nobody seems quite sure, but the pictures leaking out of China of an unreleased Windows Phone variant seem to suggest the presence of a high end model, if not a flagship device. The pictures come courtesy of a user on Chinese auction site Taobao. They were subsequently reposted by a user of Baidu.com, Inc.'s (BIDU) microblogging service.

The specs are modest:

- Body: Aluminum w/ plastic bottom panel (for antenna reception + connector access)
- Display: 5-inch 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 px)
- Memory: 2 GB DRAM
- Storage (internal): 32 GB
- Cameras: front (res. unknown), rear (in large black camera blister) w/ dual LED
- Other: 3.5 mm headphone jack, physical camera button

Probably the most likely guess is that it is a prototype of the Lumia 1030, in the vein of the aluminum unibody Lumia 930. The similarities in styling to the Lumia 930 and premium touches are quite apparent.
