From CNET: Feeling festive and philanthropic this holiday shopping season? Use your Android phone to buy gifts and everything else through the end of the year and Google will donate money in your honor.
One dollar from every transaction paid for through Android Pay will go to special needs education programs in the US through the charity DonorsChoose.org. Google will donate a total of one million dollars from now through the end of 2015.
As an added bonus, Google's doubling the donation to $2 for every purchase if you use Android Pay on Black Friday, November 27.
The campaign is designed to get more people to use Android Pay, Google's new mobile payment system available for phones with NFC and running Android Lollipop and up.
