From PC Mag: On August 25, Microsoft proclaimed that the Xbox One X was the fastest selling Xbox pre-order ever. Microsoft was referring to pre-orders of the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, but without mentioning how many were made available for pre-order. Today, pre-orders are open again, only this time it's for the standard edition of the Xbox One X.
The pre-order announcement was made by Microsoft's Major Nelson. You can place your pre-order directly with Microsoft via the Microsoft Store, or opt to use Amazon, GameStop, or Best Buy.
What you will be pre-ordering is the standard black Xbox One X with a 1TB hard drive and a single controller for $499.99. Expect delivery on launch day, November 7.
Microsoft is hoping for a great holiday season. Alongside the Xbox One X there will be over 130 new and existing enhanced games available to play. For the Xbox One, there will also be four console bundles available including Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Shadow of War, and Madden NFL 18.
