Samsung Unveils Galaxy S 4 Mini

From DailyTech: Samsung has pulled the wraps off a new smartphone in its Galaxy family called the Galaxy S 4 Mini. The new device is a more compact version of the Galaxy S 4 that has been a bestseller for Samsung since its launch.

The lightweight (107 grams) S 4 Mini has a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED display and features a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2, has integrated Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC technology, 8 GB of internal storage, and 1.5 GB of RAM. The battery inside the phone has 1900 mAh of power.

The smartphone has an eight-megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.9-megapixel front camera. The camera has the Sound & Shot function to store sound and voice together as pictures are taken. The smartphone also supports Panorama Shot to allow users to photograph entire panorama shooting pictures.

Samsung plans to offer the Galaxy S 4 mini in white frost or black mist colors. The phone will be offered in versions supporting 4G LTE or 3G HSPA+. A version supporting 3G Dual SIM will also be offered in certain markets.

The phone will launch in London on June 20 at an undisclosed price.
