Lenovo Unveils New Business Class ThinkPad Notebooks

From DailyTech: Lenovo has announced several new notebook computers that are aimed at business users. The first of the new machines includes the ThinkPad T440p and T540p premium business notebooks. Both machines are powered by up to Intel Core i7 quad-core processors. The T440p promises a battery life of up to 13.7 hours.

The T540p promises a runtime of 12.6 hours with the extended battery pack. Both machines can be fitted with NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M graphics and up to 16 GB of RAM. Buyers have the option of SSD or HDD storage with capacities up to 1 TB. The machines are also available with integrated 4G LTE connectivity, mini-DisplayPort connectivity, VGA output, and four USB 3.0 ports.

Another new machine from Lenovo is the ThinkPad W540. Lenovo says this machine has the best ThinkPad display ever measuring 15.5-inches and using 3K IPS technology. The native resolution is 2880 x 1620. The notebook is only 27 mm thick and weighs 5.45 pounds. Lenovo says that makes it the thinnest and lightest notebook in its class.

The machine can be fitted with Intel Core i7 quad core processors, up to 32 GB of RAM, and integrated 4G LTE. The machine can use up to 2 TB of storage, supports RAID, and has a backlight keyboard.

Lenovo also has a couple entry-level notebooks that are in the new ThinkPad L-series. The machines include the L440 and L540. Both are powered by various fourth-generation Intel Core processors and feature vPro technology. The notebooks are also Microsoft Lync Certified support videoconferencing.
