Samsung Announces 2.3GHz Quad-core, 5.7" Curved Screen Galaxy Round

From DailyTech: It looks as though the next bandwagon that Android smartphone makers will jump on will be curved displays (followed closely by 64-bit processors and fingerprint scanners). We’ve previously heard reports of curved display smartphones from both Samsung and LG, but it looks as though @evleaks has scored the first image of the production model from Samsung.

We don’t know anything about the specs of the smartphone and only have this single picture to show you. However, rest assured that given @evleaks’ long track record, this is what the unnamed smartphone will look like when it launches later this month.

Samsung has officially pulled the wraps of its Galaxy Round and it appears that @evleaks was once again right on the money with this one.

Specs wise, the Galaxy Round features a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.7" 1080p OLED display, 13MP rear shooter, and a 2800 mAH battery. It of course runs Android 4.3, so it’ll be compatible with the $300 Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
