Since our SSD review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list are results from one of our favorite benchmarking programs, AIDA64 Extreme Edition. As expected, the obtained results are generally within the range of what we would expect from a SF-2281 drive with 25nm asynchronous flash memory; holding constant and precise 500.0MB/s in the linear read test suite. What particularly interests me are the RAID 0 results; two Kingston SSDNow V+200 120GB drives in RAID 0 really benefited a lot in AIDA64's Disk Benchmark. Essentially, the scores almost doubled -- approaching the one-gigabyte-per-second arena in a dangerously close manner. Meanwhile, the access time is getting halved compared to having a single disk configuration.
