PCMark 10 is the latest version of the popular full system benchmark from UL. A standard benchmark run provides scores in three categories, which includes Essentials, Productivity, and Digital Content Creation. Wrapping up all three categories is an overall score in the end. This is a synthetic test that aims to emulate real-world conditions, which provides interesting insight into the performance of your system. There was some minor variation in the results of the tested kits, which you can see in our graphs above. Regardless, the DDR5-7200 kits consistently scored a little bit better than the DDR5-5600 kit with the exception of the Lexar ARES RGB, which came in last in all but the Digital Content Creation test. In that category, it only beat the Thermaltake DDR5-5600 kit. This was surprising, considering the Lexar ARES RGB DDR5-7200 2x16GB has the exact same hardware and specifications as the Patriot Viper Venom DDR5-7200 2x16GB.
