About HD Tune Pro 5.70

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk / SSD utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Unfortunately, HD Tune does not generate any fancy independent graph outputs, so I just took a screenshot of the program. Looking at the graph, we can see the Lexar NM710 1TB was pretty much flat the whole way. The access time was decent at 0.019ms. The average sequential read of 1918.6MB/s was underwhelming, falling behind the Netac NV7000-t 1TB at 2048.4MB/s, XPG Atom 50 1TB at 2654.3MB/s, Crucial P3 Plus at 2888.0MB/s, and Crucial P5 Plus 1TB at 2018.0MB/s, all of these being budget drives. The NM710 1TB was faster than the WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD 1TB though, which scored 1317.5MB/s. With all that said, HD Tune is not the most representative test for solid state drives.
