Ozone Argon Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

The manufacturer's page advertises the Ozone Argon with an eSport player. They even have a special edition of the mouse in a different color scheme. Are all these purely marketing, or is it a worthy addition to your gaming setup? To make a long story short, the Ozone Argon performed well in all our tests. It was a comfortable fit for either a claw-like grip or palm grip; along with the textured rubber on the side, it does not slip. A lot of mice feature an adjustable weight systems, and the Ozone Argon is no exception. There is 18g of extra weight that can be added in an easy manner, and it does not affect the balance of the mouse. Being able to increase or decrease the DPI to four different pre-set settings is a great addition. Throughout all the tests, I experienced no tracking issues, and all the tests proved the mouse to be smooth and accurate, as well as being responsive. The software was easy to install and intuitive. The overall build quality is solid. I even like the way it looks, especially with the RGB LEDs. Unfortunately, you cannot change the mouse profiles on-the-fly; you will have to go into the software to change it. One smaller issue is that the cable itself is rather stiff, making it just a bit harder to properly manage the way you might want to. Overall, the Ozone Argon was a great experience. Unfortunately, I had some trouble tracking down an accurate price for the Ozone Argon in North America. Based on the price of the special edition, and other products in the category overseas, it should retail for around $50-60 USD. I find this to be fair, and it is a good gaming mouse at a competitive price.
