3DMark has been around long enough to earn a solid reputation with PC enthusiasts all around the internet. The unique selection of graphic test benchmarks makes for good tests to run on your PC. The benchmark tests chosen, in decreasing GPU dependencies, were Time Spy Extreme, Port Royal, Fire Strike Ultra, Fire Strike Extreme, and Night Raid. Looking at the results, we can see all three memory kits performed around the same margin, with Port Royal being the only exception. The Thermaltake TOUGHRAM XG RGB DDR4-4000 2x8GB did manage to place first in three out of the five tests, showing that operating frequency does play a role here, even if it is a relatively small one.
