From PC Mag: It's been over four years since Sony launched PlayStation VR for the PS4, but today we got the first details of its replacement, targeted specifically at PS5 owners.
Writing on the PlayStation.Blog, Hideaki Nishino, Senior Vice President, Platform Planning & Management said, "Today I'm pleased to share that our next-generation VR system will be coming to PlayStation 5, enabling the ultimate entertainment experience with dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity. Players will feel an even greater sense of presence and become even more immersed in their game worlds once they put on the new headset."
We can expect a new PS VR headset which "enhances everything" including the resolution, field of view, tracking, and input. On input specifically, Sony is promising a brand new controller that incorporates, "some of the key features found in the DualSense wireless controller, along with a focus on great ergonomics."
