Samsung revealed new models and updates across its full range of TVs. Among conventional designs, the company will release new and updated lines of both 4K and 8K Neo QLED TVs in a variety of tiers and sizes. The top-tier 2022 Neo QLED models feature upgraded image processors that add advanced contrast mapping with the backlight systems of each TV, enabling adjustable brightness over 16,384 steps (compared with the 4,096 steps of previous models).
Samsung’s Object Tracking Sound (OTS) feature is also seeing an upgrade to OTS Pro, which adds up-firing drivers for height-channel surround sound and improved Dolby Atmos performance.
Samsung’s MicroLED technology, in which each pixel is made by its own cluster of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) instead of using an LCD or OLED panel, will see new 89-, 101-, and 110-inch models.
