Pixel Phones Get Auracast Support, Can Now Stream Music to 2 Devices at Once

From PC Mag: Google is bringing Auracast support to Pixel phones.

The Bluetooth technology works on devices compatible with LE Audio and lets you stream audio to multiple devices at once. Think of it as a hotspot, but for audio.

Select Android devices from Xiaomi, POCO, and Samsung already support Auracast, but it will now also work on the Pixel 8 series or later.

To start sharing your audio, pair your device with two LE Audio-compatible headphones. If your friend's device is within the standard Bluetooth range, both of you will be able to listen to the same song, movie, or podcast at once. This feature can be particularly useful when your streaming service has expired or your phone's battery is low, but you still want to listen to music while traveling or at a cafe.
