SOUNDPEATS Space Review (Page 1 of 4)

I think sometimes it can be difficult to meet new people, especially if you are expected to just start talking to them. However, if you have a common activity to collaborate on, you can easily remove those barriers. Several weeks ago, our church small group went to a place called Activate. This chain of active arcades can be found across North America, and they have many rooms with games that generally involve pushing, stepping on, throwing, or shooting objects. It is a bit tricky to explain, but it is basically a set of games that require movement to compete. As well, you can play these rooms cooperatively or competitively, but with my lacking athletic abilities, I prefer cooperation. I was grouped with two other guys that I did not really know. However, with the rooms of games, we worked together to complete the tasks of each room. We learned to communicate with each other and it was an enjoyable time. Afterwards, we did end up chatting, as many of these games removed any apprehension that would have been there. At the end of the day, I think it is much easier to use activities to learn more about new people rather than relying on just words. In a similar fashion, when we get new products from companies we have yet to work with, it is much easier to learn about the product just by using it rather than reading specifications. This is pretty obvious, but that is exactly what we have today with the SOUNDPEATS Space. We may be new to them, but we have reviewed plenty of over-the-ear headphones, so what will we learn after breaking the ice with the Space? Let us read on to find out!

Our unit of the SOUNDPEATS Space arrived via Amazon Shipping at our Calgary, Alberta offices. Since this order was fulfilled by Amazon on behalf of SOUNDPEATS, the package did not indicate its origin. However, it likely shipped from one of Amazon's warehouses near Calgary. The cardboard box it arrived in was packaged and handled well, as there were no dents or damage to report. Interestingly, the box featured a large "UN3481" sticker to indicate the presence of lithium-ion batteries, which is accurate given that these are wireless Bluetooth headphones.

The SOUNDPEATS Space is packaged in an all-white box. In the background, the SOUNDPEATS logo is printed in a light gold color, while the foreground displays one side of the Space headphones scaled up. At the top, we have another logo with the product name at the bottom. On one side, there are primary features listed, including its 40mm dynamic driver, hybrid active noise cancellation, and 123-hour playtime. On the other side, there is a tagline, "Hear Your Imagination." At the back, there are some specifications printed, but it remains minimal. Overall, the box looks clean and uncluttered, with few words on it.

Before we continue, I have grabbed the specifications from the manufacturer's website for your viewing pleasure:

Out of the box, the SOUNDPEATS Space is nestled in a large foam frame. All sides of the box are lined with foam to prevent any surface scratches or marks on the headphones during transit. Beneath the foam, there is a black cardboard box containing a few more accessories, including a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable for wired connections and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable for charging. These measure 120cm and 25cm, respectively. Finally, there are some paper manuals for usage and app information. I would have liked to see a carrying case included, even if it is just a fabric drawstring bag, as this would make traveling with the SOUNDPEATS Space easier.
