From DailyTech: While Nexus smartphone owners are sitting around waiting for an official Android 5.0 Lollipop update from Google, it appears that owners of Motorola’s second generation Moto G smartphone are now receiving their OTA update. The news comes courtesy of Ars Technica, which states that the update for the 2014-model Moto G started arriving last night.
According to Ars Technica, the Lollipop update for the latest Moto G weighs in at 386.7MB.
Considering that Motorola’s handsets for the most part stick to a stock Android interface (save for a few Motorola apps and hardware-specific tweaks), users will be able to experience Lollipop in all of its “Material Deign” glory without being hindered by OEM skins.
