Roku comes packed into new Hitachi televisions

From CNET: Hitachi is leaning on Roku to make its latest televisions smarter.

The Japanese conglomerate launched a new line of televisions with Roku's streaming set-top box capabilities built in. The prices of the televisions range from $499 to $999.

Hitachi is just the latest to partner with Roku; TCL had previously struck a similar alliance. For Roku, getting on more televisions means nabbing more users at a time when Apple, Google and Amazon are all vying to be the king of streaming TV business.

Select models will sell at Sam's Club this month, while others will come out later.
