From PC Mag: Google will reportedly unveil a 7-inch smart display at its Oct. 9 event.
On Tuesday, MySmartPrice.com posted pictures of the upcoming product, which it claims will be called "Google Home Hub." The device itself looks like a tablet that's been molded to the back of a speaker.
It'll function like a Google Home product, which comes integrated with the company's voice assistant software. But the addition of the 7-inch screen will let you do things like watch the news, view your calendar, and look at photos. According to the leaks, the device can also display a live feed from a Nest video doorbell camera.
However, the smart display doesn't appear to offer a full-blown version of Android. Leaked photos emphasize that Google Home Hub is designed for hands-free voice commands, though the screen does support touch.
