From DailyTech: The game that many thought would never actually be delivered to consumers -- much like Duke Nukem Forever -- is now just a few short months away from its official launch. Gran Turismo 5 is the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 racing simulator from Polyphony Digital that will be going head-to-head with Forza 3, one of the crowning jewels of the Xbox 360. When Gran Turismo 5 launches on November 3 in Japan, a special PlayStation 3 bundle will be available to commemorate the occasion. The new bundle will come packaged with a 160GB PlayStation 3 console and one DualShock 3 controller painted in "Titanium Blue" according to Kotaku. Also included will be a copy of Gran Turismo 5, a special 308-page booklet, and 5 downloadable "Stealth Model" cars. The bundle will be priced at ¥35,980 ($421 USD). In other PlayStation 3 news, Sony will also launch new systems this fall featuring 160GB and 320GB hard drives. The 160GB system will replace the current 120GB unit and will still be priced at $299, while the PS3 Sports Champions Move bundle will feature the 320GB hard drive. The latter bundle includes a PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera, a copy of Sports Champions, and will be priced at $399. View: Article @ Source Site |
