From DailyTech: Lexar is a big name in the photo storage market thanks to its vast catalog of memory card formats and sizes. The company has announced its latest product today in the form of new class 10 SDXC card that packs in 128GB of storage -- the 128GB capacity is an industry first according to Lexar. The card can also be had in a 64GB version.

The 128GB and 64GB cards are both 133x speed offerings providing at least 20MB/s data speeds for HD video recording and fast burst shooting.

“The professional photography industry is at a point where digital photo- and video-capture methods are converging, meaning that professional shooters need a memory solution with the versatility and reliability to safely store both photos and videos,” said Pachi Chen-Wong, senior product marketing manager, Lexar Media. “The 64GB and 128GB Lexar Professional 133x SDXC cards combine high-speed performance with large capacities to offer solutions for professionals who shoot large volumes of high-resolution images and HD video.”

Lexar reports that the cards are compatible with all SDXC-enabled devices, and that the cards ship with Image Rescue software to help you recover and restore deleted images from the card. The storage cards are aimed at the pro market. The 128GB card will cost $699.99 and the 64GB version will sell for $399.99 with both shipping in Q1 2011.
