From DailyTech: Google CEO Larry Page announced the 10 million mark yesterday during the company's second quarter earnings call. He also praised the new service, saying that it is a "clean and easy" product to use and imitates the way real humans interact. "I'm super excited about the response to Google+, which lets you share just like in real life," said Page. In addition to 10 million users, Google has reported that over 1 billion items have been shared daily on Google+, showing that users are not only signing up for the service but using it daily as well. Page attributes the large amount of activity to the addition of the +1 button both on and off Google+ (users can +1 websites on Google search when signed into Google+). According to Page, the +1 feature is being used around 2.3 billion times per day. "We want to make products that everybody uses twice a day, like their toothbrush," said Page. "We certainly think about Plus that way, and just generally having a shared identity experience across Google and its products." View: Article @ Source Site |
