From DailyTech: Corsair has added some new flash drives to its USB 3.0 line for faster transfers and backups. The new flash drives include USB 3.0 versions of the Flash Voyager GT, Flash Voyager, and Flash Survivor. The drives have data transfer speed potential of up to four times that of normal USB 2.0 flash drives. "Our new lines of USB 3.0 flash drives offer great choices for performance enthusiasts and on-the-go professionals." said Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair. "The Flash Survivor and Flash Voyager families are known for their ruggedness, reliability, and superior ergonomics, and USB 3.0 speed makes them even better." The Flash Voyager GT 3.0 comes in capacities up to 64GB and has a max read speed of 135 MB/sec and a maximum write speed of 83MB/s. The 64GB version sells for $129 and a 32GB version goes for $59. The Flash Survivor USB 3.0 is a ruggedized version of the flash drive family designed to survive drops and water to protect your data. The drive is hidden inside an aluminum waterproof housing and can survive depths up to 200-meters. The Flash Survivor sells for $35 in 16GB flavor and 8GB version is $28.
