MSI Outs G-Series Gaming Notebooks with NVIDIA GTX 570M GPU

From DailyTech: MSI has announced new gaming notebooks today which are called the GT780DXR and the GT683DXR.

Both of the new gaming notebooks have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M GPU inside and can be fitted with a Blu-ray burner as an option. The GT780DXR notebook has a brushed aluminum chassis and a massive 17.3-inch full HD display. That display has a non-reflective coating on it and the machine features a programmable SteelSeries backlit keyboard. The machine is fitted with an Intel Core i7 processor, 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage with RAID 0. If that isn't enough RAM or storage, the notebook can also get 16GB of RAM and 1.5TB of storage.

“As the market leaders in gaming notebooks, MSI prides itself in delivering performance machines that meets and exceeds the expectations of even the most advanced gamers,” said Andy Tung, vice president of sales, MSI US. “The latest additions to MSI’s G series, especially by incorporating NVIDIA’s top of the line graphic cards, reinforces our commitment to the genre.”

The GT683DXR gets the same GTX 570M GPU and also uses an Intel Core i7 processor. It, however, has a smaller screen at 15.6-inches that is full HD resolution. It can be fitted with a Blu-ray burner and up to 16GB of RAM.

Both of the notebooks have MSI TDE technology to boost graphics performance. They also have MSI Cooler Boost Tech to improve airflow and they have Dynaudio speakers with THX surround sound. The 15.6-inch notebook doesn't get the SteelSeries keyboard; it gets a normal chiclet design.
