AMD Readies New Never Settle Bundle: Details Unveiled

From X-bit Labs: Advanced Micro Devices has managed to address millions of PC gamers with its Never Settle and Never Settle: Reloaded bundles in 2012 and 2013 and thus boost its share on the market of graphics solutions aimed at gamers. Quite naturally, the company does not have any plans to stop this and will introduce new Never Settle bundles in the coming months.

According to slide that resembles those from AMD’s presentations, which was published by HardOCP web-site, AMD plans to bundle Battlefield 4, Company of Heroes 2, Grid 2, Lost Planet 3, Raven’s Cry, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Total War: Rome II and Watch Dogs with its graphics cards starting this Fall. While exact terms of the deals is to be determined, the list looks nothing but impressive.

Even though free games with the purchase of a graphics card are a significant advantage, they will hardly catalyze significant amount of people to buy current-generation graphics solutions. As a result, the success of AMD’s graphics business unit will depend not only on game bundles, but on availability of new-generation products.

At present it is expected that AMD will introduce its all-new high-end Radeon HD graphics cards code-named Sea Island this Fall. What is unclear is whether AMD also plans to offer something new on the market of performance and mainstream graphics solutions.
