Logitech Launches MX Anywhere 3 Compact Wireless Mouse

From PC Mag: Today Logitech launched what the company describes as its most advanced compact wireless mouse called the MX Anywhere 3 alongside a variant for Mac users.

Logitech designed the MX Anywhere 3 to work, as the name suggests, anywhere. It will happily track your movement on "virtually any surface," which includes glass, thanks to the use of a Darkfield high precision sensor. The DPI is adjustable between 200 and 4,000 with increments every 50dpi. Logitech also managed to squeeze six buttons on to this compact mouse and there's predefined app-specific profiles to take advantage of them for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Chrome, Safari, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

"MX Anywhere 3, the latest addition to the premium MX family of products, is purpose-built for creating, making and doing at the speed of thought so you can master whatever you need," said Delphine Donne-Crock, general manager of creativity and productivity at Logitech. "Designed to enhance your workflow anytime and anywhere you need to be productive, MX Anywhere 3 is comfortable and fits well for smaller hand sizes."

Connectivity is via a USB receiver and recharging is done using the included USB-C to USB-A cable. Battery life is impressive for the built-in 500mAh Li-Po battery, which Logitech rates at 70 days. It's possible to get three hours of use from a one-minute quick charge if you're in a hurry, though.
