Ubisoft+ Games Can Now Be Streamed Using Google Stadia

From PC Mag: Last month, Ubisoft renamed its Uplay Plus service as Ubisoft+ and promised support for cloud streaming on Amazon Luna and Google Stadia. If you're in the US, Stadia support has just been introduced.

Ubisoft+ offers access to over 100 Ubisoft titles and all new releases for $14.99 a month. Those games are available to PC gamers, but Ubisoft is beginning to expand support to other devices by relying on streaming services. Yesterday a beta was launched in the US allowing Ubisoft+ subscribers to stream rather than install games.

In order to take advantage you need to be a Stadia Pro subscriber ($9.99/month) as well as being signed up to Ubisoft+. In your Stadia settings there should now be a Ubisoft+ option in the left panel allowing the two accounts to be linked. Once the link is confirmed, the game streaming can commence, and it includes new titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Watch Dogs: Legion.

As ExtremeTech reported today, Stadia just introduced support for iPhone via a new progressive web app. It means any of the games available in your Stadia library should be playable on Apple's iOS devices, albeit you'll still need to use a controller rather than attempting to rely on touchscreen input for the best experience.
