YouTube Drops Pornhub Account for Linking to Adult Content

From PC Mag: YouTube has removed Pornhub's official channel over violations of its Community Guidelines.

The adult site, which launched on YouTube in December 2014 and has amassed nearly 900,000 subscribers, now displays a 404 ("not found") error on the web.

"Upon review, we terminated the channel Pornhub Official following multiple violations of our Community Guidelines"—including linking to sites that host adult content—a YouTube spokesperson told Variety(Opens in a new window). "We enforce our policies equally for everyone, and channels that repeatedly violate or are dedicated to violative content are terminated."

Pornhub parent company MindGeek denies the accusations.
