From PC Mag: Media conglomerates Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery are working together to roll out a streaming service bundle that will include Disney+, Hulu, and Max, formerly known as HBO Max, Disney announced in a press release Wednesday.
The trio of apps will be available as standalone bundles with ad-free and ad-supported versions. Pricing has not yet been revealed, but Warner Bros. CEO and President JB Perrette says it will offer "unprecedented entertainment value" for customers. It's currently unclear, however, how much money customers might be able to save by purchasing the bundle over each service separately. Buyers will be able to get the bundle on Disney, Hulu, or Max's websites sometime this summer. An exact release date hasn't yet been announced.
"This new offering delivers for consumers the greatest collection of entertainment for the best value in streaming, and will help drive incremental subscribers and much stronger retention," Perrette said in a statement.
"This incredible new partnership puts subscribers first, giving them access to blockbuster films, originals, and three massive libraries featuring the very best brands and entertainment in streaming today," added Disney executive Joe Earley, president of its direct-to-consumer division.
