From PC Mag: Amazon is launching two new Echo Show devices: the larger Echo Show 21 and an upgraded Echo Show 15.
The Echo Show 21 has the biggest touch screen of any smart display from Amazon, making it a better option for video streaming, if that's something you like to do on Echo devices. It's wall-mountable, so it could double as a picture frame, a small TV, a security camera feed, a smart home lighting hub, or even a digital fireplace this holiday season.
Amazon is promising better audio quality, plus more bass and noise-reduction tech than the original Echo Show 15, so it's easier to hear voices. The Echo Show 21 also has a better camera for video calls with a 65% zoom, while auto-framing keeps you centered in a video chat even if you move a bit. It comes with Wi-Fi 6E capabilities and costs $399.99.
If you're looking for a smaller and cheaper—but still improved—the Echo Show 15 is getting an overhaul after being out of stock for months. It has the same improved audio and video camera as the Show 21, so the $100 price difference is mostly due to the screen size. It's available now for $299.99, or $20 more than the original.
