From PC Mag: Just two years ago, Microsoft launched its Copilot+ PC brand to identify AI-first computers with exclusive artificial intelligence features, but that wording is nowhere to be found on recent Microsoft devices or OEM products.
As spotted by Windows Central, the Copilot+ PC brand hasn’t been included on any 2026 Surface products. In an interview with the publication, Microsoft’s Surface devices corporate VP, Brett Ostrum, confirmed that the recently announced Surface Pro 12 and 13 with the Snapdragon X2 Plus won’t carry the Copilot+ PC logo or name.
“They do meet all the requirements of our previous bar for what Copilot+ devices are," Ostrum said. "We still lean into the narrative around AI on the edge and being able to have a hybrid solution out there."
